Who’s A Good Candidate For Ultraformer III Treatments?
Clients suitable for Ultraformer III are those with skin that has ‘’relaxed’’ to the point of looking and often feeling, less firm. A lowered eyebrow line or sagging skin on the eyelids, for instance, is often the first sign of ‘’maturing’’ skin. Typically, those in their thirties and older who have skin laxity and are not ready for surgery either mentally, financially or logistically. There are also younger people who want to ‘’stay ahead of the game’’ as well as those looking to prolong the effects of cosmetic surgery.
Clients with facial implants or open wounds on their face are not appropriate for this treatment.
How Many Treatments Will I Need?
Clients with mild to moderate skin laxity will need only one treatment and then can repeat the treatment every 12 months to maintain their results. For moderate to severe laxity a second treatment around the 3 month mark after the initial procedure is recommended and then maintenance treatments every 12 months after that. Future touch-up treatments are individually based on the original condition of the skin and the body’s own biological response to the ultrasound and collagen building process. Clients will still have fresh young collagen after a year’s time following the procedure and can continue for up to another year. Eyes can be targeted separately and require three treatments spaced apart every two weeks. You will be advised of the appropriate treatment regime to maximise your results during your consultation.
How Does The Ultraformer III Work?
Ultraformer III is the worlds only micro and macro-focused ultrasound system. Multi-functional cartridges delivering focused ultrasound energy at various depths – 1.5, 2mm, 3mm, 4.5mm, 6mm, 9mm and 13mm allows treatment on both face and body areas with optimal speed, comfort and efficacy for collagen stimulation, dermal micro-coagulation and subcutaneous fat micro-reduction. Three separate cartridges will be used on each area – one for each of the targeted layers – and this will result in a multi-layered lifting and tightening of the skin.

Will I Feel The Ultrasound During The Treatment And What Does It Feel Like?
Yes, clients have noted there can be a slight discomfort while the ultrasound energy is being delivered but it is temporary and a positive signal that the collagen-building process has been initiated. What you are feeling is tiny amounts of focused ultrasound energy being deposited below the surface of the skin and some immediate contracting of the skin in the treated area can also be felt.
